Karen Murdock

Karen Murdock is an experienced tax professional with a solid background in auditing and tax law. Currently serving as an Income Tax Auditor for the City of Columbus since March 2015, Karen provides valuable assistance to taxpayers regarding municipal tax laws and tax return preparation, while also collaborating with the City Treasurer’s Office to manage cash deposits. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Tax Commissioner Agent 2 at the Ohio Department of Taxation from April 2012 to the present, and as a Senior Auditor at the Naval Audit Service from June 2006 to November 2009. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Thiel College, earned between 2002 and 2006.
