Hannah Bechtold is a highly versatile administrative business and human resources professional who has spent her nearly nine-year career creating and implementing groundbreaking processes, programs and systems. An energetic and driven individual, Hannah is at her best when managing operations teams, coordinating large-scale executive engagements and leading special projects.
Hannah joins the Office of the President after serving in the Ohio University Office of Advancement for the past seven years where she supported executive leadership, created a centralized administrative resource team which served the operational needs of the division and facilitated the volunteer experience for the Office of Advancement’s board relations function. In her most recent role, Hannah served as an associate campaign director in which she oversaw a feasibility study, building partnerships and relationships aimed at a future university campaign launch. In addition to these experiences, Hannah has expertise leading strategic initiatives, preparing and managing divisional budgets and designing and implementing new organizational structures which create operational efficiencies for the division.
Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology from Ohio University. Currently in the final semesters of her master’s degree in higher education from Ohio University, Hannah sees colleges and universities as a pathway to community impact and access to continued learning for all populations. In early 2019, she achieved The Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
Prior to her time with University Advancement, Hannah worked at Ohio Realty, Ohio University Undergraduate Admissions, and Circle Round The Square with administrative, special project, volunteer management and human resource responsibilities.
