Julie Vargo

Julie Vargo, MBA, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology management and consulting. Currently serving as the Senior Director and CIO of Advancement at The Ohio State University since April 2006, Julie Vargo oversees a complex multi-system infrastructure, managing over 300 end-point systems while ensuring compliance with PCI and HIPAA policies and directing a substantial annual budget. Prior to this, Julie Vargo worked as a Senior Managing Consultant at Software Architects from 1996 to 2006, where responsibilities included the initiation and implementation of custom IT applications, requirements gathering, design oversight, and project budget management. Julie Vargo holds an MBA from Ohio University and a degree from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
