Torey Hilbert

Torey Hilbert is a graduate research associate at The Ohio State University's Insect-Microbial Symbiosis Lab, focusing on the integration of histology, microbiome, and omics data to explore the interactions between microbes and their effects on host growth and development. As a doctoral student and graduate teaching associate, Torey serves as the instructor of record for "Introduction to Probability for Data Analytics" and leads recitations for related courses. Previous experience includes work as a data science intern at Pilot Chemical Company, a student researcher in advanced mathematics, and full-stack and back-end development roles at Ascendum Solutions and Zero to Sixty. Torey holds a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from The Ohio State University.
