Julian Buliga

Julian Buliga is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in DevOps and software development. Currently serving as Lead DevOps Engineer at The OpenNMS Group since December 2021 and a Senior DevOps Engineer at Sierra Wireless since August 2018, Julian has demonstrated expertise in CI/CD practices with tools like Gerrit and Jenkins, as well as infrastructure management using Terraform and Docker. Previous roles include DevOps Architect at SMG Asset Canada Inc., where infrastructure was migrated to IBM Cloud, and Senior DevOps Engineer at HSBC, supporting Jenkins operations and AWS migration. Julian’s background also includes significant contributions as a Senior Software Developer at Ericsson, focusing on private cloud implementations, as well as foundational work as a Sr. Web Developer at SMG, where custom web solutions were developed. Julian holds a Master of Science in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
