Michael Williams is an experienced professional in student support and public policy. Currently serving as College Success Coordinator and College Success Homecoming Fellow at The Opportunity Network since September 2021, Michael provides one-on-one counseling to college students in the fellows program and organizes impactful events. Prior experience includes roles as a Program Assistant at the Penn LGBT Center and a Public Policy Intern at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, where Michael analyzed public policy issues and engaged in civil rights coalition meetings. Additionally, Michael interned in Education & Youth Development at the National Urban League and volunteered with The Petey Greene Program. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from the University of Pennsylvania, along with an Advanced Regents Diploma from Millennium Brooklyn High School.
