Oscar Ortiz has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Model Booking Agent at The Option Agency, where they connected brands with models and actors. Oscar then moved on to work at Speak Your Peace Productions LLC, where they served as a Creative Producer for an LGBTQ short film. Oscar also worked at Los Ninos Cuentan as a Producer and Outreach Campaign Coordinator, producing the show "En Familia" and providing resources for the Latino community in Oregon. Additionally, they were a Producer at Azul Films, co-producing film shorts and video campaigns for local nonprofits. Prior to these roles, Oscar worked as a Barista at Starbucks, and as a Freelance Video Producer at Blount, where they created technical training videos.
Oscar Ortiz began their education at Rex Putnam High School, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. After completing high school, they enrolled at Clackamas Community College, School of Music Technology, where they pursued a General Studies degree. During their time at Clackamas Community College, Oscar focused their studies on the Audio Production Program, Photography, and a General Studies curriculum. Oscar attended from 2008 to 2010. Finally, Oscar attended Portland State University from 2009 to 2011. At PSU, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film.
