Shasta Zielke

Shasta Zielke is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in donor relations, fundraising, and nonprofit development. Currently serving as a Donor Relations Officer at The Oregon Community Foundation since May 2023, Shasta previously held the position of Senior Development Officer at DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital, where storytelling and donor engagement were key focuses. Prior to that, Shasta worked as a Development Strategist for LKA Fundraising & Communications, collaborating with nationwide nonprofits on fundraising and marketing strategies. As a co-founder of the Rose City Track Club, Shasta fostered a supportive environment for distance runners. Additional experience includes roles at Oregon Wild, Airbnb, Portland Running Company, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Health Care Access Clinic, and internships focused on community health education. Shasta holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from The University of Kansas.
