David Clarke

David Clarke has worked in the food industry since 1994, beginning their career as a Distribution & Sales Manager at Haagen Dazs. In 1996, they co-founded Preferred Brands International, where they worked until 1998 when they became Executive Vice President of Lincoln Snacks Company. In 2004, they were appointed CEO of DeMet's Candy Company, and in 2014 they became CEO of Starbrands, N.A. at pladis Global. Most recently, in 2017, they co-founded Crave Better Foods, where they currently serve as CEO.

David Clarke attended Choate Rosemary Hall from 1981 to 1985. David then went on to Wake Forest University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English & Theirtory in 1989. In 1990, they began a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Wake Forest University School of Business, which they completed in 1992.
