Tyler Dawson

Tyler Dawson is an experienced journalist currently serving as a reporter for the Ottawa Citizen since May 2015, focusing on local issues and federal affairs while creating mobile-original content. Previous experience includes roles as a staff reporter for Low Down to Hull and Back News, where Tyler covered breaking news and municipal affairs, and as a reporter for the Edmonton Journal. Tyler's early career involved internships at Postmedia Network Inc. and the Red Deer Advocate, covering national and local news, respectively. Tyler's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Journalism from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Alberta.
