James Sadek

James Sadek has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James began their career as an independent contractor, working as a furniture designer and fabricator from September 1988 to September 1999. James then joined Local #52 as a Construction Coordinator in 1998, where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined Pace Gallery and held various positions including Installation Design and Construction Director from July 2008 to January 2018, Exhibitions and Art Fairs Director from January 2018 to July 2019, Global Exhibitions Senior Director from July 2019 to present, and finally, Chief Programming Officer from May 2022 to present.

James Sadek completed their MFA in Sculpture from Queens College between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, they attained a BA in Sculpture/Anthropology from Bennington College, which they pursued from 1984 to 1988.
