Janna Gitlin

Janna Gitlin, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse range of work experience in human resources. Janna is currently the Associate Director of People Operations at Pace Gallery since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the AFTRA Retirement Fund, starting as an HR Associate in 2006 and progressing to Senior Human Resources Generalist. At AFTRA, they also held the roles of HR Specialist and Human Resources Generalist. Janna also served as an HR Administrator at AFTRA Health & Retirement Funds from 2006 to 2008. Their earliest HR role was as an HR Associate at Purchase College/SUNY from 2001 to 2006.

Janna Gitlin, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/English from SUNY New Paltz in 1996. Janna then went on to complete their Master of Science degree in Human Resources/Labor Relations from Baruch College in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Rockland Community College from 1992 to 1994. Janna Gitlin obtained their SPHR certification from HRCI and their SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in February 2015.
