Helen Kourland-Piacere

Helen Kourland-Piacere is an experienced healthcare professional, currently serving as a Registered Nurse at The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation and Nursing since 2019 and at New Franklin Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing since August 2017, where responsibilities include providing assessment and direct care for up to 40 patients daily and supervising nursing aides. Previously, Helen worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital as a Nursing Assistant from 2013 to 2017 and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Elmhurst Care Center from 2009 to 2013, focusing on patient care and essential daily activities. Before entering the nursing field, Helen was the Vice President of Operations at Canopy Designs Ltd, managing overall operations for a high-end manufacturing company, and served as an Emergency Medical Technician with Central Park Medical Unit, where an award for pre-hospital saves was earned.
