Martin Shapter

Martin Shapter is an experienced restaurant and culinary operations manager with a career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Restaurant Manager at The Peninsula Club since October 2021, Martin has held key positions including Director of Culinary Operations at Cabarrus Country Club and Director of Food and Beverage at Alamance Country Club. Previous roles include Restaurant Operations Manager at Chetola Resort & Conference Center and Club House Manager at Highland Country Club. Martin began as Executive Chef at Carolina Trace Country Club and holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Sullivan County Community College.
