Rob Robson has over 16 years of experience in the field of people and change management. In 2004, they began their career as a Senior People & Change Management Consultant at Atos. In 2007, they moved to Apter International (Organisational Development) as a Business Psychologist and Head of Employee Research. In 2006, Rob founded and developed iStadia.com, a social networking/social media platform for sports professionals. In 2008, they joined National Grid as an Organisational Change Manager (National Grid Metering). Rob then held various roles at National Grid, including Change Manager Gas Distribution Transformation, Change Manager Global Procurement Transformation, and Talent & Organisational Effectiveness Manager. In 2012, Rob became Vice President/Human Resources Director (Europe) and UK General Manager & HQ Programme Director at Tata Technologies. In 2018, they joined 8Connect People & Change as a Business Psychologist and Strategic Change Consultant, and The People Experience Hub as Director of People Science & COO and Strategic Advisor: Employee Experience & Engagement. In 2019, Rob became a UK Licensed Partner - Business Psychology & Coaching Tools at Apter Solutions. In 2020, they co-founded The Motivational Sports Coach Programme as a Sport Psychologist & Coach Developer. Most recently, in 2022, Rob became a Tutor for MSc Occupational Psychology at the University of Leicester.

Rob Robson completed their MA (Hons) in Psychology with Business Studies at The University of Edinburgh from 1991 to 1995. Rob then went on to earn an MSc in Exercise & Sport Psychology from the University of Exeter from 1995 to 1997. In 2021, Rob obtained the Certified Business Psychologist certification from the Association for Business Psychology. In 2010, they obtained the Associate Fellow certification from The British Psychological Society. In 2004, Rob earned the Chartered Psychologist (Sport & Exercise Psychology) certification from The British Psychological Society. In 2012, they earned the Change Management Practitioner certification from APMG. Finally, in 2010, Rob obtained the Prince 2 Practitioner (Project Management) certification from OGC.
