Martyn Hencher

Martyn Hencher serves as Finance Director at The Pioneer Group since September 2018, leading the People & Finance directorate encompassing finance, treasury, HR, and organizational development. Additionally, Martyn has been a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Nehemiah United Churches Housing Association Limited since September 2019, contributing to a BAME-led housing association with 1,200 homes. Previous roles include Head of Finance at Rooftop Housing Group, and various positions at Worcestershire County Council, Dyson Perrins Church of England Academy, and the Liberal Democrats. Martyn holds a professional accountancy qualification from CIPFA, a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Worcester, and a BA (Hons) in German and History from The University of Sheffield.
