Lindsay Aroesty has a diverse work experience starting in 2000 as a Ski Coach at Sugarloaf. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a Sales Associate at Premier Financial Services, LLC, managing accounts of exotic car leasing customers in California. Lindsay then moved on to The Taft School, where they held roles as a Major Gift Officer from 2004 to 2007 and as an Assistant Director of Development from 2006 to 2010. Currently, Lindsay is working at The Pittsburgh Foundation, where they have held various roles since 2010, including Assistant Director of Donor Services and Planned Giving, Director of Donor Services/Planned Giving Specialist, and Vice President of Development and Donor Services. Lindsay is responsible for working with donors, designing grantmaking opportunities, integrating planned giving strategies, and securing new funds. Additionally, Lindsay has experience in managing capital campaigns and engaging young alumni.

Lindsay Aroesty has a diverse education history. Lindsay attended The Taft School from 1995 to 1999, where they completed their high school education. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education at Colby College from 1999 to 2003. During their time at Colby, Lindsay also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Otago for a semester in 2001, focusing on education.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Lindsay went on to pursue a Master's degree in Public Administration/Business Management at Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2014. This furthered their knowledge in the field of public administration and business management.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lindsay has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the "Certificate of Completion in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from the American Management Association. In 2017, they became a "Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy" through The American College of Financial Services. Most recently, in January 2022, Lindsay obtained the "Level 100 Race Coach" certification from the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, showcasing their expertise in coaching for competitive skiing.
