Lisa Millspaugh Schroeder has extensive experience in leadership roles within non-profit organizations. Currently, they are the President and CEO of The Pittsburgh Foundation, where they lead efforts to improve the quality of life in the Pittsburgh region through philanthropy. Prior to this, they served as the President and CEO of Parks & People Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to connecting Baltimore citizens to parks.

Lisa also held the position of President and CEO at Riverlife, where they played a crucial role in redeveloping Pittsburgh's riverfronts. Lisa successfully negotiated public-private partnerships and oversaw the development of multiple riverfront open space projects. In addition to their roles as a CEO, Lisa also served as the Director of Education at Greater Portland Landmarks, where they developed educational programs and publications focusing on historic preservation.

Lisa started their career as a Manager at Real Estate Services Group (now Place Economics), where they provided technical assistance for downtown revitalization plans and expanded the client base to multiple states and countries. Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated their commitment to community engagement, preservation, and promoting responsible philanthropy.

Lisa Millspaugh Schroeder earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the field of School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation from Columbia University, which they completed from 1983 to 1985.
