Dan Hendrickson has a diverse work experience in various companies in the engineering and defense industry. Dan started their career at General Dynamics in 2003 as a Systems Engineer, where they worked on missile defense initiatives and software development. Dan then joined NATO in 2006 as a Principal Engineer, overseeing international system-to-system interfaces. In 2009, they joined Lockheed Martin, where they held various roles including Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Engineering Manager, working on international software development contracts and leading a business unit. Since 2014, they have been with The Port of Virginia, initially as Vice President of Strategic Planning & Analytics and currently as Vice President of Asset Management and Special Projects, where they are developing a more mature and strategic system for managing investments. Dan Hendrickson's experience showcases their expertise in engineering, project management, and strategic planning.
