Marissa Blanco

Marissa Blanco has a diverse work experience in the supply management and real estate industries. Marissa is currently working at The Port of Virginia, where they started in April 2017 as a Procurement Analyst. Marissa then progressed to the role of Sourcing Manager in September 2018 and became the Director of Supply Management in September 2019. Marissa is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Supply Management since January 2021.

Prior to their role at The Port of Virginia, Marissa worked as a Real Estate Agent at Nuvia Rivera & Associates from June 2016. Before that, they gained extensive experience in sourcing as a Sourcing Agent at Maersk Line, Limited, where they started in July 2007 and worked until April 2017.

Marissa Blanco earned their Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Tidewater Community College, between 2008 and 2010. Marissa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Saint Leo University, which they completed between 2010 and 2013. Marissa continued their education at Saint Leo University and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Project Management between 2015 and 2018.
