Trent TerHaar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Trent began their career at Zoomer Inc as a Print Technician, managing print production and maintenance. Trent then worked at WOOD TV8 as a Broadcast Designer, creating graphic presentations and acting as a liaison between different departments. Trent later became the Owner of Catch of the Day, where they developed marketing plans for multiple clients across different industries. Trent specialized in design for print media, direct mail, and online advertising.
From 2011 to 2021, Trent worked at The Boat House Group, initially as the National Marketing Director and later transitioning to the role of Director of IT. Trent led marketing campaigns, developed marketing plans, and implemented a company-wide CRM system. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, they participated in strategic planning and drove cultural change through various initiatives.
Currently, Trent is the Marketing Director at The Prestwick Group, where they lead a team in building brand consistency, increasing market visibility, and driving marketing campaigns through various mediums.
Trent TerHaar began their education journey in 1994 at St. Clair County Community College, where they pursued an Associates degree in Advertising Design. Trent completed this program in 1996. Following that, Trent enrolled at Grand Valley State University in the same year, with a focus on Graphic Design. Trent graduated from this institution in 1999, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
