Stephen Sills is an accomplished academic and consultant with extensive experience in research design, policy analysis, and community impact. Currently serving as a Research Design Consultant at The Prosperity Agenda since January 2024, Sills is also an Affiliated Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where Sills holds multiple roles, including Professor of Sociology and Founding Executive Director of the Center for Housing and Community Studies. With a career spanning over three decades, Sills has led various initiatives at organizations such as the United Way of Forsyth County and the Research, Policy and Impact Center, focusing on community development, inequality, and inclusive organizational culture. Sills's previous experience includes directing research at Wayne State University and operating a homestead farm. Sills holds a PhD in Sociology from Arizona State University and a BA in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
