James Ashton

James Ashton serves as the Chief Executive of The Quoted Companies Alliance since October 2022, advocating for the UK's small and mid-sized publicly traded companies. Additionally, James holds the position of Non-Executive Director at FINSBURY GROWTH & INCOME TRUST PLC, while being an established author with publications including "The Everything Blueprint." As Chairman of OSCAR'S BOOK PRIZE, James oversees a significant award in early years literature, established in honor of a late son. A seasoned media professional, James has previously directed Comic Relief Ltd and held senior editorial roles at prominent publications, including Executive Editor at the London Evening Standard and The Independent, City Editor at The Sunday Times, and Chief City Correspondent for the Daily Mail.
