John Murray

John Murray has a strong background in finance and consulting. John started their career as a Chartered Accountancy Trainee at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1992 and worked there until 1995. John then moved on to Coopers & Lybrand, where they served as a Corporate Tax Manager from 1995 to 1998. In 1999, they worked as a Consultant at both Macquarie Bank and GE Capital. From 2000 to 2012, John worked at IMG as the Vice President of Golf - Finance. John then joined The R&A in 2012 as the Executive Director of Finance.

John Murray attended The University of Edinburgh from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Accounting and Business Studies.
