Keefe Harrison has extensive experience in the recycling and environmental field. Keefe began their career as the Sustainability Manager, Recycling Coordinator, and Environmental Education at UNC Greensboro in 2000. From there, they worked at the North Carolina Division of Pollution Prevention & Environmental Assistance as Local Government Assistance from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they worked as a Contractor at SE Recycling Development Council, Assoc. of Postconsumer Plastics Recyclers, and Booz Allen Hamilton from 2005 to 2011. Keefe then became a Consultant at Resource Recycling Systems from 2011 to 2014. Keefe is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at The Recycling Partnership, starting in 2014.
Keefe Harrison attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Ecology & Natural Resources. During their time at UNC Greensboro, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of Oulu in 1996. Keefe further pursued their studies in Environmental Studies at Warren Wilson College in the same year.
