Dominic Baez

Dominic Baez is an experienced editor with a strong background in journalism and management. Currently serving as the features desk editor at The Seattle Times since May 2022, Dominic has also been a copy editor for The Register-Guard since June 2015, focusing on news and features while contributing weekly video game commentary. Prior experience includes roles as a copy editor at The Daily News, where page design and film/video game reviews were key responsibilities, and as general manager at Taco Bell, overseeing a team and managing restaurant operations. Earlier positions include copy editor/paginator for The East Oregonian and staff at Wild Carrot Herbals, alongside editing the student-run Linfield Review during studies at Linfield University, where Dominic earned a BA in Mass Communications.
