Anusha L.

Research Project Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY

Anusha L. currently serves as the Model Forest Coordinator at Watershed Agricultural Council and as a Research Project Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY since August 2021. Anusha previously worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at World Agroforestry from April 2020 to March 2021, focusing on Resilient Food Systems in Uganda and Nigeria. Anusha's early experience includes being an Erasmus Scholar for a two-year MSc in Sustainable Tropical Forestry, with studies at various prestigious institutions. Anusha's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Resources Conservation and Research from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and multiple master's degrees in related fields. Anusha has also gained communication experience through an internship at WWF Nepal.
