Benjamin Taubner

Benjamin Taubner is a Nanobioscience Research Scientist at The Research Foundation for SUNY, specializing in the development of plasmonic biosensors for the detection and diagnosis of Lyme disease and advancing commercial applications of this technology. Previous roles include serving as a Support Specialist and Project Aide at The Research Foundation, where Benjamin focused on COVID-19 and Lyme disease microfluidic immunoassays and employed machine learning for data analysis. Benjamin has also held leadership positions in medical/prosthetic clinics in Vietnam, demonstrating commitment to community service and clinical applications. With a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Mercer University, Benjamin's academic background supports a strong foundation in the medical technology field.
