Jay Barclay

Jay Barclay is an experienced operations manager currently serving at The Research Foundation for SUNY since September 2017, previously holding the role of Deputy Operations Manager at SUNY System Administration. Prior to this, Jay worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as the Director of Research Administration and Finance - Post Award from June 2016 to September 2017. Earlier experience includes a longstanding tenure at The Research Foundation for SUNY, where Jay held various leadership positions in business operations and sponsored programs from 2003 to 2016. Jay also worked at State Street Bank from 2000 to 2003 as a Senior Account Controller and Fund Accountant. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Union College, completed in 2000.
