Michele McTernan

Michele McTernan serves as a Research Administrator for the Center for Planetary Exploration at The Research Foundation for SUNY since March 2020, following extensive experience at Stony Brook Medicine where Michele contributed as a Division Administrator and Project Staff Associate since 2008. In previous roles, Michele focused on research administration, pre- and post-award management, and HR administration in medical research settings. Additional experience includes serving as an Editorial Assistant for "Infection and Immunity," freelance grant writing for the North Shore Baymen's Association, and grant writing for John T. Mather Memorial Hospital. Michele holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of the State of New York and an AAS in Marine Technology from Suffolk County Community College.
