Andrew Michael

Andrew Michael has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Andrew is currently the Director of Purchasing at The Resort at Pelican Hill, a position they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Beverage Director at Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas from August 2021 to February 2022. Before that, Andrew held various positions at Meadowood Napa Valley, including Director of Purchasing/Director of Food & Beverage from April 2021 to August 2021. From 2007 to 2020, they worked at Meadowood Napa Valley as the Director of Purchasing and also held the role of Purchasing and Beverage Manager. Additionally, they worked as a Beverage Manager at the Restaurant at Meadowood from 2007 to 2008 and as a Bartender/Sommelier from 2006 to 2007. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in overseeing purchasing and beverage operations, implementing new procedures, managing teams, and achieving cost savings.

Andrew Michael attended Bard College from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
