Lauren Aycock Anderson

Lauren Aycock Anderson, LCMFT, NCC, currently serves as a Family Therapist at The Retreat At Sheppard Pratt, providing individual, couple, and family therapy, and facilitating group sessions related to relationships and communication. With nearly a decade of experience running Counseling for Creatives, LLC, Lauren utilized systemic, narrative, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approaches to support creatives through therapy and coaching, while also hosting a podcast and leading workshops. Previous roles included mental health therapist positions, freelance graphic design for non-profit organizations, and adjunct professor at the Community College of Baltimore County. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Management from Frostburg State University.
