Karen Shiers

Karen Shiers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karen currently holds the position of Vice President, Meetings, Incentives, Charters, Events & Partnerships at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director, Meetings, Incentives, Charters & Events at the same company from September 2021 to March 2023. Before joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, they worked at Merlin Entertainments, where they held several roles, including Vice President of Sales, North America from March 2019 to September 2021, and Head of Sales & Revenue Management at LEGOLAND California Resort from November 2017 to March 2019. Karen has also worked in marketing and sales roles at various branches of Merlin Entertainments, including leadership positions in new openings in Europe and emerging markets. Karen began their career with internships and marketing associate positions before moving into sales and management roles.

Karen Shiers has pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing, Economics, and Art from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Additionally, they have studied abroad at the International University of Monaco, where they also received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree.
