Aamir Islam

Aamir Islam has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and media fields. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineering and Quality Assurance Co-op at Paperless Parts, where they developed a mobile app using React Native, implemented mobile push notifications, and improved quality assurance processes. From 2020 to the present, they have held various roles at The Routing Company, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2022, Aamir served as an Executive Producer and News Director at NUTV, where they were responsible for managing the news department and producing a weekly news show.

Aamir Islam completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Northeastern University. This education spanned from 2017 to 2022. Prior to attending Northeastern University, Aamir graduated from Valley Stream Central High School in 2017, obtaining an Advanced Regents Diploma. Additionally, Aamir obtained a certification in "Learning iOS for Android Developers" from Lynda.com in May 2018.
