Amy McDonald

Amy McDonald has significant experience in community engagement, education, and project coordination within cultural and heritage organizations. Currently serving as Project Engagement Manager at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh since January 2023, Amy oversees a program funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, focusing on community engagement and education as part of the Edinburgh Biomes project. Previously, Amy worked as a Learning Producer at Historic Environment Scotland, creating educational resources to foster connections with heritage, and as Engagement & Learning Coordinator at the National Library of Scotland, where engagement with Scotland's audio heritage was prioritized. Additionally, Amy has held roles at the Scottish Poetry Library, where project management included initiatives like National Poetry Day, and has contributed to public programs at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
