Emily Shao

Emily Shao is a highly experienced consultant ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal and complex cataract surgeon at Royal Surrey County Hospital since August 2020. Additionally, Emily Shao has been a vitreoretinal fellow at Sydney Eye Hospital since July 2019 and has held the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists since July 2017. Prior to these roles, Emily Shao worked as an ophthalmologist with the NHS from August 2012 to July 2019. Emily Shao completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Imperial College London from 2004 to 2010.
