Umair Qidwai

Umair Qidwai is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the field, currently working at The Eye Center, South City Hospital, Karachi since September 2023 and at Patel Hospital Karachi since August 2021. Qidwai also serves as an FRCOphth Examiner at The Royal College of Ophthalmologists since September 2020. Previous roles include locum consultant positions at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Qidwai completed a Glaucoma Fellowship at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and has a clinical fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology. Educational qualifications include FRCOphth, a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow, and a medical degree from Dow Medical College.
