Yasser Alruhaily has a strong background in cybersecurity and information security, with experience spanning over 15 years. Yasser is currently working as the Entities Strategies & Development Director at The Royal Commission for AlUla, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance business performance and growth. Prior to this, Yasser held various leadership roles in the field of cybersecurity, including Cybersecurity VP and Executive Director of Cyber Security at different organizations. Yasser has also worked as a Cyber Security Strategy & Program Director at stc, where they were responsible for establishing cybersecurity strategies and programs. Yasser's expertise includes strategic planning, risk management, privacy and data protection, and establishing IT infrastructure. Yasser has been involved in establishing effective cybersecurity operating models, driving strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Yasser's work experience also includes positions at Mobily, National Guard Health Affairs, and AlRajhi Bank, where they gained expertise in security assessments, wireless security, and information security management.
Yasser Alruhaily completed an Executive Program in Senior Executive Leadership at Harvard Business School in 2023. In 2021, they also completed a Leadership Program in Leadership Communication with Impact at INSEAD. In 2019, they completed a Leadership Program in Developing Leadership Competencies at IESE Business School. Yasser Alruhaily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), which they earned between 1999 and 2004. Additionally, they obtained certifications including CISM and CRISC from ISACA, as well as Certified CISO.
