Mark Hobbs

Library Digital Collections Manager at The Royal Horticultural Society

Mark Hobbs serves as the Library Digital Collections Manager at the Royal Horticultural Society since September 2019, overseeing the management, preservation, and digitization of library collections. Prior to this role, Mark worked at the British Library from 2013 to 2019 as Digital Learning Projects Manager, where the development of a significant digital learning resource took place, and as Content Specialist within the British Library Qatar Foundation Partnership Programme. Previous experience includes positions as Content Manager and Curatorial Consultant at Barker Langham, Digitisation Manager at the Royal Academy of Music, and various design roles across multiple organizations. Mark holds a PhD in the History of Art from the University of Glasgow and an MA in 20th Century Art & Design from Falmouth University.
