Alan Bartlett

Alan Bartlett has extensive experience in technical and engineering design within the theatre industry, currently serving as the Head of Technical Design at the Royal Shakespeare Company since September 1991, where responsibilities include overseeing major projects and managing scenery design and construction for global productions. Additionally, Alan Bartlett has been a Technical Design Consultant for Setpiece Design since January 2012, providing consultancy services for notable projects such as "Finding Neverland" and the Dynamo tours. Earlier experience includes serving as the Building Development Manager and Head of Construction at Birmingham Repertory Theatre Ltd from 1985 to September 1991, overseeing significant redevelopment projects.
