Jan Winstone

Jan Winstone has had a diverse career in the music industry, working as a freelance musical director, pianist, keyboard player, rehearsal pianist and coach since 1993. In 2015, they joined the Royal Shakespeare Company as a Musical Director. Jan also worked as an Assistant Musical Director for Annie (UK Tour) with Michael Harrison & David Ian Productions from June to October 2015. Prior to these roles, Jan was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chichester, starting in August 2009 and ending in January 2015.

Jan Winstone's education history begins in 1984 when they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Music from the University of Reading. Jan then pursued further studies and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Accompaniment from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) between 1987 and 1989. Continuing their education in the field, they pursued another Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Accompaniment from the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) from 1992 to 1993.
