Priya Olivia

Priya Olivia is an experienced scenic engineer and metalworker with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently employed at the Royal Shakespeare Company since August 2021, Priya specializes in welding and fabricating scenery for theater productions. With additional roles at the Royal Opera House since September 2013, Priya has gained expertise in hydraulics, motorized elements, and constructing sets for operas. Previous experience includes positions as an art and design technician at HAPU, metal worker at Maestra Group, and freelance scenic metalworker, among others. Notable projects include producing metalwork for "The Mighty Walzer" at The Royal Exchange Theatre and a champagne bar for McLaren. Priya obtained a BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering from Uxbridge College, completing studies in 2016.
