Suzy Bourke

Suzy Bourke has extensive work experience in stage management. Suzy began their career in 2004 at the Almeida Theatre as a Stage Manager and then went on to work with various theater companies such as Chichester Festival Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, and the Royal Shakespeare Company in freelance and company stage management roles. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for coordinating and scheduling large casts and technical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of productions, and prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved. Currently, they hold the role of Deputy Head of Company and Stage Management at the Royal Shakespeare Company, where they oversee the recruitment and management of stage management teams for new productions.

Suzy Bourke attended Rose Bruford College from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a BA degree with a 2:1 classification. Suzy'sfield of study was Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology.
