Kate Wixley

Kate Wixley is a professional project designer currently employed at The Rug Company since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kate gained experience as a Textile and Surface Design Intern at House of Gharats and as a Freelance Graphic Designer, working on diverse projects including branding for app startups and a digital cookbook collaboration. Additional internships at RISOTTO STUDIO LTD and The Centre for The Less Good Idea provided valuable design experience in print and graphic design. Kate holds a degree in Graphic Communication Design from Central Saint Martins and has completed a short course in Creative Textile Design Collections, also at Central Saint Martins, along with a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.
