Eric Brooks

Eric Brooks is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in digital editing and radio broadcasting. Currently serving as a Senior Digital Editor at the University of California, San Francisco since June 2023, Eric also works as a Freelance Writer for SFGATE beginning in October 2022. Prior to these roles, Eric held significant positions at Audacy, Inc., including Managing Editor, Digital at KCBS Radio, and Assistant News Director. Additionally, Eric has a long tenure with The E.W. Scripps Company, where roles included Director of Programming and News and Executive Producer at WTMJ Radio. Earlier career experience includes serving as News Director and Assistant News Director at WLDS-WEAI Radio. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Business from Valparaiso University.
