Chawntae Applegate joined Schlesinger Group in 2019 bringing 25 years of consumer research experience. Chawntae has a keen understanding of qualitative and quantitative research and prides herself on developing long-lasting relationships that support consistent, high-quality data collection and project consultation. As Executive Vice President of Client Solutions, Chawntae is responsible for the overall business development strategy for all North American clients, excluding healthcare.
Chawntae started her market research career in 1994 in various roles, including; qualitative field management, account management, and new business development, before joining Synovate (now Ipsos) in 2003 where she became an integral part of the P&G team and was later promoted to Senior Vice President, overseeing the account management team. This insight into P&G led her to become a product testing expert for the P&G R&D/Sensory Teams.
After leaving Ipsos, Chawntae spent time as an individual contributor for smaller firms such as Thoroughbred Research and Walker Information where she continued to provide client solutions and manage full-service work for corporate clients.
In 2015, Chawntae joined Research Now (now Dynata) supporting online sample/data collection to corporate clients who were focused on DIY solutions but still needed the insight and consultation of a knowledgeable market research partner.
Chawntae graduated from DeVRY University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting. She is a member of The Insights Association, AMA, and WIRe.
