Joe Mulvaney heads up Schlesinger Group’s North American Qualitative business, leading traditional in-person, and digital and online research. Joe believes successful research starts with a solid foundation of communication between the client and the project team. In his role, Joe focuses on sharing his expertise to lead strong project management teams and strive for excellence in recruitment and project management.
Before joining Schlesinger Group, Joe founded and led Quotus, a boutique research management company that delivered high-quality coordination and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies. Prior to that, he was a finance and strategy manager with Procter & Gamble and Kimberly-Clark Corporation before beginning his journey in market research as SVP of Operations for Ipsos’s NA Qual division. At Ipsos, Joe led their project management team’s transformation and integration of the Synovate acquisition.
Joe holds Marketing and Finance degrees from Cedarville University and a certification in Competitive Intelligence. He has led training for Fortune 500 companies and their insights divisions on how to run successful qualitative research and has spoken at industry conferences on the topic of qualitative project management.
