Fatima Baqir

Fatima Baqir is the current Director of Advisory at The Scion Group. Fatima has experience working in student housing management and advising international students.

Baqir started their career in student housing management with Toronto Rentals in June 2013. In this role, they were responsible for property management of all downtown student rentals, generating revenue for high seasons, and maintaining clients' accounts payables. Baqir then transitioned to advising international students at the University of Toronto from May 2013 to August 2014. In this role, they assisted Science Without Borders students with finding housing in Toronto, conducted orientations for new incoming students, and referred students to appropriate resources related to academics, health and wellness, etc.

Baqir's experience in student housing management and advising has led their to their current role as Director of Advisory at The Scion Group. In this role, they are responsible for providing strategic and operational support to clients in the student housing industry.

Fatima Baqir has an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Fredericton and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto Mississauga. Fatima is currently a Real Estate Leadership at the University of Fredericton.

Fatima Baqir reports to Rob Bronstein, President. Fatima Baqir works with Beau Crockett - Retail Analyst, Asset Management, Rafael Valverde - Tax Manager, and Kenneth Funk - SVP, Operations.
