Anita Nesbitt has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Anita has a strong background in software engineering, data management, and technical consulting. Anita'smost recent position was as the Director of Software & Application Engineering at The Seattle Times, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of software engineering for the company's online platforms. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at Better Data, providing custom data curation and modeling consultation. Anita has also held director-level positions at Classmates, Inc., Intellectual Ventures, and Tideworks Technology, where they led teams and delivered key software products. Additionally, they have experience in software development management at Travelport and Cobalt Group, and has worked as a Software Architect & Technical Consulting Manager at FizzyLab. Early in their career, Anita worked at AtomicTangerine and Boeing, where they held various technical and managerial roles. Throughout their career, Anita has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, improve software delivery processes, and deliver successful projects.

Anita Nesbitt obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 1987 to 1989. Anita also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Telecommunications Management with a minor in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University.
