John Sargeant

John Sargeant has been working in the IT field for over 15 years. John began their career as a manager for BP, where they led international teams in developing high-potential businesses in various countries. John also played a role in restructuring several mature businesses, repositioning Castrol in the Base Oil market, and bidding for the part-privatisation of HPCL in India.

In 2008, John left BP to join The Share Centre as their IT Director. In this role, they are responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly. John has also been instrumental in developing and implementing a number of new technologies that have helped The Share Centre to better serve their clients and grow their business.

John Sargeant has a MA in Industrial Economics from the University of Sussex and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from the same school.

John Sargeant reports to Richard Stone, Chief Executive. They work with Richard Stollery - Customer Experience Director, Mike Birkett - Finance Director, and Linda Roberts - Director of Partnership and Change.
